Spiritual connect

Anjanna Kuthiala’s latest set of paintings pay tribute to womanhood, and for one of those creations, she chose to paint her friend Poonam Sethi.
And apparently it was the Sai Baba connection that brought them together. Sethi tells us, “We were friends but it was the karmic connection that got us together. We both were wearing something with Sai Baba in our hands, and that’s when we realized that Baba is common between the two of us.So there is a spiritual connect.”
Anjanna confirms this, and says, “We both are Sai bhakts. So I guess Baba brought us together. Look at her, and you will see something spiritual. She has an aura around her and connects with everyone so well. I know her and she is a strong woman, so to paint her in this series doesn’t need any other reason.”
